The Project
Expanding Search Visibility Across Regional Fuel Markets
Barton Petroleum needed to grow its organic presence across a wider range of locations and fuel-related searches. While the business already had strong industry experience and a trusted delivery network, there were still opportunities to reach more customers through search.
The project focused on helping Barton Petroleum become more visible across regional searches, especially in areas where customers were looking for reliable fuel delivery, heating oil suppliers, red diesel, and related services.
Rather than only chasing high-volume national keywords, the strategy needed to capture the value of many smaller local searches. Individually, these areas may not have looked like major traffic opportunities. Combined, they represented a significant audience of customers actively looking for fuel suppliers in their area.
Our Approach
Finding Growth Through Local SEO and Search Gaps
Our approach was built around research, competitor analysis, and regional opportunity. We started by understanding Barton Petroleum’s services, delivery areas, customer types, and wider market position.
From there, we analysed competitor SEO strategies to find gaps that Barton Petroleum could use to its advantage. This helped us identify underserved regions, location-based keywords, and service pages that could bring in relevant traffic from users with strong buying intent.
