2018 Channel Creative Review

2018 Channel Creative Review

As this is the last blog of the year we thought it would be fitting for us to review our year. What has been happening to Channel Creative in 2018, what went well, what didn’t go so well and our plans for 2019! So without further or do, here is our 2018 Channel Creative Review.

What Went Well?

Channel Creative was first created in October 2017, without actually doing anything with the idea. It is not until May 2018 that Channel Creative actually started trading. Now we’re currently 7 months into operating and as you can imagine it has been very busy. Here are some of our best achievements in those 7 months.

Website Builds

We’ve created some really great websites for some really great people and companies. These websites have had great reviews from their new owners and their customers. We look forward to building more websites and improve the online presences for as many companies and people as we can. You can see all our website work on our Portfolio Page.

Weekly Blogging

We’ve been blogging weekly, well pretty much every week. We’ve been writing a whole bunch of great blogs to give you a huge amount of information on all things digital. We believe in giving back and showing others how they can improve their digital marketing. Check out all our blogs here.

Search Engine Optimisation

We’ve done a few projects around SEO now. Our customers are starting to see the light and understand that SEO is the future of marketing and needs addressing before the competitions do. We would love to do more projects around this and we have some great things lined up in 2019.

Overall Business

The overall business has been doing very well. Channel Creative has been going from strength to strength and next year is already set to be very busy, so who knows what the future will hold.

Not so Well?

Here are things that didn’t go so well in 2018 for Channel Creative. As with any brand new business, the first year is always considered the hardest, but we’re currently 7 months into our first year and we seem to be doing pretty well. Here are some of the things that aren’t going so well however.

Didn’t Network Enough

We have always done networking, we find that it is one of the best ways to get in contact with like-minded business people and expand the reach of Channel Creative. After starting off strong our networking efforts slowed down around 4 months into business, we’ve addressed this issue now and we’re attending a lot more local and national events. Keep an eye out for us!

No Pay Per Click Projects

Unfortunately, we’ve had no major Pay Per Click projects this year. From our point of view, we know the reason for this, one is that we just don’t push it that much. Our advertising is not focused around this, however, we have already planned a way to push this harder in 2019. Keep checking our portfolio page for new PPC projects to come.

Well, that’s enough of the negatives lets get into what’s to come in the future!

What is to Come?

With our first seasonal year in business over we’ve learnt a huge amount and we know what to do to take our business to the next steps in 2019. Although we’ve done a lot of work that we’re really proud of, 2019 will be our year to take over the digital marketing market and we can’t wait to get started.

In 2018 we planted a lot of seeds that we’re looking forward to growing. We have some big projects and lots of little projects already in the pipeline that we can’t wait to show you. Keep an eye out for our projects coming and keep checking here from the 2nd January 2019 for more great blogs.

2018 Channel Creative Review Conclusion

It has been a great year for us which I’m sure a lot of small start-up companies can’t say. We’ve had some hard times, but for the most, we’ve enjoyed every part of creating and running Channel Creative.
